PAIR SLOPE started its business in 1983, its name has been used for the
brand, the company name and the shop.
‘PAIR SLOPE’ comes from the name of slope around the shop, Meoto-zaka[Meoto=(pair)
zaka(=slope)]. If we had started our business at a different place, our
brand would not have been ‘PAIR SLOPE’
The shop just under the atelier is very limited in space. The area might
be less than half of that in Kyoto. All of our masterpieces are shown in
this shop. We’d like to introduce all of our current and future customers
our crafts “made in Japan.” |

We use beech wood hangers for all leather jackets. You can taste leather
and wood in the shop.

Wallets : Lots of variation in design and materials,
cordovan, cow, deer, crocodile and shark.
|
 |
Humidity : We keep humidity around 50% all the time to maintain our masterpieces in the greatest condition.
|
 |
Gloves : We have several materials for gloves also…horse, deer and cow.
|
 |
| Key rings : The 1st type in 1983 was 900JPY, 1000JPY + tax now. Not much changed. |
|

Cow, horse, deer…Leather gears made with various materials are displayed.

Technics : We would like you to gaze our products in details not only design and materials but also stitches.

Bags : All of bags are made in our ateliers, Meoto-zaka and Asama.

Sewing machine : The one in the shop area is for altering the length of jeans and small
things.
|

| Boots : You cannot miss those for your styles. |
|
| *All sizes for leather jackets, gloves and boots are in Japanese size. |
|
Only motorbikes can be parked under the sign.
* No parkings for cars. Please use parking around the shop. |

You can find ‘Senzokuike’pond by 15 minutes walk from the shop. The nearest
station for this is Senzokuike next to ‘Nagahara’, the nearest of our shop.
Senzokuike is the best place to think what to buy before visiting us and
what to buy next after shopping with us. |

We can create your “original masterpiece” , from key rings to jackets |

Basically all of our gears can be made as you want. We are welcome your
“one off” order with details of colors, materials and so on not only for
jackets but also key rings and other products.
Every single masterpiece is created by the same craftsmen of PAIR SLOPE
in the same place. Please ask our staffs if you have any questions. |
